Pet Minding and Walking Services

Holiday Caretakers will come to your home and keep your pets in their daily routine, this is a better alternative to leaving your pet in a kennel, cattery or pet motel as it relieves any stress they may experience from being away from their usual environment.

Feeding

We feed your pets what you provide, we ask that you provide their food as you know what they like, dislike or may be allergic to
We ensure that they always have fresh water and check that they are happy and content

Affection

Be sure that we will give them heaps of hugs, kisses and play with them while we are there

Cages and Litter Boxes

We empty any cat litter boxes or clean out the bottom of any birdcages, we will scoop up and dispose of any poo or droppings

Grooming

We can brush your pets coats and feed them any treats you may have provided

Dog Walking

For a small additional fee, we can take your pets for their usual ½ hr or hour exercise time – or we can take them to the local park and give them a good run around.

Home Care Services

Holiday Caretakers will come to your home to make sure that your home is safe and make sure that there are no signs that your are away (such as collect the mail, take out the bins and turn the light on at night).

Collect the Mail

We will do a daily check of your mailbox and collect any mail, We will keep record of the date each mail item arrives (so that you know the exact day it was delivered)
We will clear your letterbox of any junk mail (we can throw it out if you hate it or it can be kept along with your other mail)

Rubbish Bin Night

On bin night, we will put your bins out on your kerb and bring them back in the next day - they will be placed where they are usually kept

Water the Garden

Keeping in mind the current water restrictions, on watering days, we will water your gardens

Turn the Lights on

Before we leave, we can turn on any lights you desire left on overnight (this gives the impression that someone is home)

Yard Clean Up

Holiday Caretakers want you and your pets to ease back into your routine.

Your pets will be very very excited for you to return and the last thing you may want to do is start your household chores (especially hard work like mowing). Your pets will want valuable play time and watching you mow may not be their idea of love and fun.
